Guidelines
- Most of the N will come in manure and chicken litter.
- Main focus will be getting a better/quicker stand
- Adding foliar sprays to help drive nutrients into the plant when the roots are not doing so well or don’t have anything ready to take up.
For the Tassel Application, you want to base this on tissue sampling so you can add what is needed to finish the crop. Most of the time it is looking like potassium or calcium, not always both.
If growers don’t have the means to put the Pro Phos™ in-furrow... they would need to put it through irrigation or consider Active™ 2-20-2.
